Head Control Unit

Mike,

Do you have any experience with the dual climate control system on the GM's? Both my heat and AC function, but the temperature control doesn't work... it blows cold until I max out the temperature and then it heats like normal.

The dealer is wanting to replace the head control unit, wondering if you have any sources? I like to compare prices and do my research before going to the dreaded dealer.

Before paying that ridiculous amount at the dealer, pick one up from a junkyard and try it out. Those items very rarely go bad. It may cost you $20 for the part.
